...brothers, sisters, everybody sing~!
Iron-Gibbet.com is back online! Thankfully everything went as scheduled and nothing broke ... *too* badly.
You may notice some things in the finer details - for instance, each comic site get's it's own, personalized slice of heaven! Bask in their individuality!
And, perhaps more importantly, comments on comics are BACK ONLINE! They're now hosted through Facebook to make life a little bit easier than bothering to come up with logins and whatnot for every thing...
As for the comics themselves, Indifferent Girl will continue updating every Wednesday while we wait for The Refuge and Requiem Mask both make their return in December!
AND Dim Bulbs, our newly hosted comic by Zach Heiser , is set to launch in early 2016!
So take a peek and see what's new! Go and binge read everything! Now is a good time!
(I-G's back... all right~!)
|1. Where can I read your comics?|
You can find ALL of our comics conveniently on Iron-Gibbet.com!
2. When do you update your comics?
Currently we are in a production hiatus. But when uploading resumes, the schedule is as follows:
Requiem Mask = Mondays
Dim Bulbs = Tuesdays
Indifferent Girl = Wednesdays
The Refuge = Fridays
You can keep up with updates via Facebook or Twitter. You do not need an account to see our updates.
3. You don't update frequently enough!
Okay, first of all, comics are a LOT of work. Ask anyone who does them, and they'll say it's a labor of love. And since we currently do our comics for a whopping ...
...33 cents per hour between the three of us, we HAVE to have other jobs so we can pay our bills. Please, please, PLEASE do not give us a hard time for this. We're doing 3 comics which upload once a week each. That's actually pretty darn good, considering. All we ask is a little empathy. You wouldn't want to do a whole bunch of work and then be yelled at for not being fast enough, either.
4. What program do you use to do your art?
Predominantly we use SAI Painter and Adobe Photoshop.
5. Can I use your work on my page?
No, sorry. The only way we allow that is if you give us full credit and a link back. But we really, REALLY prefer that you didn't.
6. I hate your story! Your art sucks! Etc...
That's nice. There's lots of other places you can be other than here. We suggest you go to one of them. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate blocking without warning.
7. Can I make fan art for you?
Of course! Just be sure to credit us as the original artists, and be sure to send us a link so we can see!
8. Do you accept commissions? Art trades? Requests?
We do not do art trades or requests. Any messages asking for such will be ignored. We also no longer accept commissions. You may be able to persuade the artists individually via one of their other contact pages, but our schedule no longer allows us to keep up with commissions demands.
9. How can I help you guys out?
You can subscribe to our Patreon! For as little as $1/month, you get sneak previews, bonus comics and art! You can also donate via iron-gibbet.com
Otherwise, you can spread the word about our comics! We always appreciate any support you can throw our way - even if it's word of mouth!
10. I have a webcomic, but no where to put it - any suggestions?
We are currently looking for new webcomics to add to our roster and we're open to hosting new artists. Send an e-mail to email@example.com and pitch us your comic idea. You may end up being the next comic on Iron-Gibbet Comics!
Got a question to ask? Send it our way.
